Regional Sales Manager Centro, Aragón y Andalucia
What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business
- Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities; meet potential clients by growing, maintaining and leveraging your network
- Identify potential clients and the decision-makers within the client organization
- Research and build relationships with new clients
- Set up meetings with client decision-makers
- Plan approaches and pitches; work with the team to develop proposals that speak to the client’s needs, concerns and objectives
- Participate in pricing the solution/service
- Handle objections by clarifying questions, emphasizing agreements and working through differences to a positive conclusion
- Develop talent, ensure training plans, and promote a culture of safety and high performance.
- Manage internal communication between branches and foster cross-functional coordination.
What you need to succeed at XPO:
At a minimum, you’ll need:
- University degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field
- 5 years of experience in sales and team management
- Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Intermediate-advanced level of English
- Inspirational leadership and ability to manage large and diverse teams.
- A valid driver’s license
- Availability to travel frequently within the region.
It’d be great if you also have:
- Experience in business development or related areas
- Demonstrated results in meeting sales targets
- Advanced knowledge of the sales process, including the ability to understand and interpret customer needs using fact-finding to identify sales opportunities
- A high level of passion to succeed and strong self-motivation
- The ability to work effectively as a team player with a strong work ethic
- A keen interest in the transportation industry
