We are looking for a Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance management of our fleet and facilities in Hoznayo, ensuring vehicle availability, operational safety and cost control.
This position will coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance, the technical team and external suppliers, working closely with Operations to minimise vehicle downtime and ensure service continuity.
What you’ll do on a typical day
- Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of the fleet.
- Coordinate repairs, servicing, mandatory vehicle inspections (ITV) and other required inspections.
- Manage the maintenance team, organising workloads, priorities and shifts.
- Monitor vehicle availability and reduce downtime.
- Coordinate workshops, suppliers, spare parts and external services.
- Monitor maintenance costs and ensure compliance with the agreed budget.
- Analyse recurring breakdowns and implement corrective actions.
- Keep technical documentation and maintenance records up to date.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety, quality, environmental and risk prevention standards.
- Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, Procurement and other internal departments.
What you need to succeed at XPO
- Technical qualification in Automotive Engineering, Electromechanics, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Experience managing the maintenance of commercial or industrial vehicle fleets.
- Knowledge of mechanics, electrical systems, diagnostics and preventive maintenance.
- Experience coordinating technical teams and external suppliers.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and problem-solving skills.
- Results-oriented mindset with a strong focus on safety and cost control.
- Proficiency in IT tools and maintenance management systems.
- Availability to work on-site in Hoznayo.
It would be a plus if you have
- Experience in transport, logistics or heavy vehicle fleet management.
- Knowledge of regulations applicable to commercial and industrial vehicle fleets.
- Experience in budget management and supplier negotiation.
- A level of English that allows you to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
