Account Executive
What you'll do on a typical day
- Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting and qualification through proposal, negotiation, and contract closure.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers.
- Identify customer transportation and supply chain needs and propose tailored logistics solutions.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline to consistently achieve revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Operations, Pricing, and Customer Service teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals and business cases to customers.
- Participate in pricing strategy discussions and contract negotiations.
- Identify opportunities for account growth through upselling and cross-selling of XPO services.
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within CRM systems.
- Continuously monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to identify business opportunities.
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and key performance indicators.
What you need to succeed at XPO
At a minimum, you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Logistics, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or related industries.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
