At XPO Logistics, we're growing rapidly across the UK and Ireland and winning exciting new opportunities. We're looking for an experienced Senior Bid Manager to lead our bid function and play a key role in securing major new business.
This role offers the opportunity to influence how XPO is positioned in the market, develop compelling customer solutions, and drive bid excellence.

On a typical day, you will:
- Lead the full bid lifecycle from qualification to submission and review
- Develop clear, compelling, customer-focused proposals
- Define and drive strong win themes
- Manage and coach a small bid team
- Lead bid reviews, workshops and governance processes
- Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Finance, Legal and SMEs
- Maintain bid content, templates and best practice
- Drive continuous improvement across quality and performance
What you'll bring
- Strong experience managing complex bids and tenders
- Proven leadership and team development skills
- Excellent communication and storytelling ability
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong stakeholder collaboration skills
- High attention to detail and quality
Desirable:
- Logistics / supply chain / 3PL experience
- APMP or similar methodology
- Proposal automation tools
- Adobe Creative Suite (or similar)
