XPO Graduate Management Programme

At XPO, we're looking for ambitious graduates who want to build a career in logistics and develop into the next generation of operational leaders. This isn't a programme where you'll spend two years sitting in meetings or shadowing others. From day one, you'll be given real responsibility, leading teams, solving problems and helping our operations deliver for customers. 

Over the two-year programme, you'll complete three eight-month placements across our UK operations, gaining experience in both warehouse and transport leadership roles whilst developing valuable hands on experience needed for a successful career with XPO.  

Many of our previous graduates have gone on to become Transport Managers, General Managers and Account Directors across the business. In fact, our current Managing Director started their career on this very programme.

As part of the programme, you’ll be: 

• Leading frontline operational teams, running your own shift and developing your leadership skills 

• Building strong customer relationships and resolving operational challenges in real time 

• Supporting and developing your teams to overcome operational challenges, manage daily performance and achieve shared goals 

• Working in the grey, you’ll need to think on your feet, energetically think outside of the box and adapt quickly  

• Driving engagement, wellbeing and performance across diverse teams 

• Leading and contributing to high-profile projects involving QHSE, sustainability, continuous improvement and new site launches 

We want graduates who don't wait for opportunities, they create them. 

You'll be: 

• Passionate and interested Logistics and Supply Chain, any previous experience in Logistics and Supply Chain would be desirable.  

• Ambitious, resilient and motivated by challenge. 

• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments where no two days are the same 

• A confident communicator who enjoys working with people 

• Adaptable and comfortable dealing with ambiguity 

• Curious and innovative, always looking for ways to improve 

• Commercially aware with an entrepreneurial mindset

• Eager to learn, grow and push yourself outside your comfort zone 

• Degree qualification in any discipline  

• Right to work in the UK before your start date 

• Full UK driving licence 

• Willingness to relocate and complete placements across the UK
