We are looking for someone like you. We’re currently recruiting for a Transport Planner to be based at our site in Droitwich on our dedicated customer contract . As part of this busy transport operation, covering Monday to Friday, 12:00 to 21:00.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• The planning of all orders for the AKW contract within the timeframes set by the SLA.
• Planning of XPO core fleet resource across multiple sites, with full use of TMS.
• Full control of the drivers absence, ensuring cover in place for annual leave/sickness.
• Producing reports for Contract and Transport manager as required.
• Ensure all core fleet is allocated, ensuring all fleet is utilised effectively.
• Immediate escalation to the Transport Manager/ Supervisor for any non-conformance to the daily plan.
• Dealing with customer service queries daily as well as effective debriefing of the drivers on their return to depot.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• It’s important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment 
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience within transport and a good understanding of compliance and driver hours would be beneficial
• Excellent UK geographical Knowledge.
