About the Role
We are looking for a Subcontractor Sourcing Specialist to strengthen our team in Germany with a strong international perspective. This role is ideal for someone who understands both German and cross-border transport markets — particularly France and Central/Eastern Europe (e.g., Poland).
Your Responsibilities
- Lead negotiation and implementation of transport contracts
- Manage subcontractor audits, RFIs and RFPs in line with procurement procedures
- Ensure compliance with supplier, legal, and CSR standards
- Monitor contract execution, identifying and mitigating procurement-related risks
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key transport suppliers
- Act as a proactive partner to stakeholders, challenging needs and proposing innovative solutions
- Maintain and update supplier data and procurement activities in internal systems
- Contribute to category procurement strategies
- Conduct market analysis, benchmarking, and monitoring at both national and international levels
- Provide functional leadership within procurement activities
Your Profile
- Degree in Logistics, Transportation, or Supply Chain
- Proven experience in subcontractor management within road transport
- Solid understanding of transport operations (preferred)
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to manage risks and drive performance
- Experience working in a European/multicultural environment
Key Advantage:
- International exposure — ideally with knowledge of German and French markets, or a Polish-German-French perspective
