Backhaul & Interworks Logistics Coordinator – Gotham
We’re looking for a Backhaul & Interworks Logistics Coordinator to support the delivery of an efficient, cost-effective network.This role is focused on reducing empty running, coordinating daily activity and ensuring a high level of service is delivered to our customers. You’ll work closely with planning, site and customer service teams to ensure operations run smoothly and targets are achieved.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £30,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Liaise with backhaul customers to secure suitable loads and meet revenue targets
- Provide regular updates and ETAs to customers
- Manage POD returns and EPOD processes
- Support planning teams to ensure smooth network operation
- Work closely with site teams to ensure plans are executed correctly
- Maintain accurate load trackers and records
- Attend daily planning calls and resolve operational issues
- Proactively identify and prevent service failures
- Escalate any issues where required
- Complete invoicing for completed work
- Deliver clear communication internally and externally
- Analyse data and produce reports for customers
- Provide cover across the backhaul and interworks team when needed
