As a Warehouse Operative, you’ll be working in our busy warehouse facility, moving pallets, loading and unloading vehicles.

 You’ll be working 40 hours (plus overtime) per week on the 15.00 to 23.30  Monday to Friday shift. In return for your hard work, we’ll offer you a competitive hourly rate of £12.71 plus £1.75 unsocial hours.

What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Load and unload trailers using a pump truck.
• Load and unload cages safely and efficiently.
• Move pallets, cages, and other goods between designated warehouse areas.
• Ensure trailers are loaded correctly, securely, and in the correct sequence for delivery.
• Check goods for visible damage and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and safe working environment.
• Follow all warehouse health and safety procedures.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet operational deadlines.
• Carry out any other reasonable warehouse duties as required.

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Ability to carry out manual handling duties and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
